The Barony of al-Barran has a weekly archery practice.  If you have ever wanted to try Archery all you have to do is show up at practice and we will help you learn.  We have Marshals that provide us with safety guidance.  There is protective gear for you to borrow.

Practice:
Every Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

What to Wear: 

• Comfortable Clothing
• Pants
• Closed Toed Shoes

Safety Equipment: (We have LOANER gear !)

• Arm Guard
• Gloves or Finger Tabs

Equipment: (We have LOANER gear!)

• Bow
• Arrows (min 6-12)
• Quiver
• Belt

Other things to bring: 

• Water
• Camp Chair / Stool
• Shade Tent / Parasol / Hat – there is no shade available at the site.
• Willing to learn Attitude

Location:  475 Sedillo Rd, Tijeras, NM 87059

 

Directions:
From Albuquerque: Take I-40 east to Exit 181 for Sedillo Hill. At the stop sign turn left onto Route 66 (now 333) and travel 1.6 miles. Take a right turn at Highway 217 and go to the top of the 1st hill, traveling .2 miles. Take a right turn onto Sedillo Road and go to the 3rd right turn, traveling .2 miles. Address is 475 Sedillo Road with a sign reading “Dalton Baker”. Enter thru the gate (if the gate is closed then you will have to open and close it behind you) and travel down the driveway and the archery range will be set up on the left.
