Credit to the Authors and Artists

The Current Middle Ages was originally compiled by the following staff:

Sir Raymond the Quiet, Editor of the Shafted March
Lord Kristjan Olavssen Ankestjerne, Editor of the Original Shaft
Master Hieronymus the Sarabite, Editor of the Pilgrim's Shaft
William the Fossicker, Technical Advisor and enthusiastic assistant

It is now being revised and reprinted for the pleasure of the many of our newcomers in the Barony of al-Barran. The original printing was done when we were just a small March back in late 1975. Updates have been made where needed and additional articles from other sources are included with the permission of their authors. Most revisions and updates have been done by Countess Kathryn of Iveragh with the gracious help of Countess AElflaed of Duckford, Lady Coriander Wrightswife, and Mistress Saerlaith l'Estrangere for the sixth printing, and additionally by My Lord Coz for the seventh printing.

Sections of current laws and Rules of the Lists were taken from the Organizational Handbook for the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc., April 2002.

The article "Alphabet Soup Explained" has been drastically revised to pertain to the Kingdom of the Outlands. It still has its basis in "et cetera or Alphabet Soup Explained, Part Iv, The Kingdom of Atenveldt", by Master Baldwin of Erebor, taken from "Tournaments Illuminated", No. 59, Summer 1981 (and later revised by Mistress Keridwen of Montrose and yet again by Countess Kathryn of Iveragh).

Songs by Master Baldwin of Erebor used by permission and may not be reproduced without his permission.

Artwork was contributed by Master Hieronymous the Sarabite, Mistress Ynhared Dewines y Glyndu, Mistress Kathryn of Iveragh, Mistress Keridwen of Montrose, Master Erasimierz Waspanieski (past Outlandish Herald), Viscountess Irminsul the Improbable, and Lady Geyla of the Dragons.
